A day trip to Bratislava

Today we look at Vienna's neighbourhood in Slovakia, to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Being only a short journey (usually as 1 to 1 1/2hrs ) away from Vienna, it is ideal for a day trip.

Maybe you have been to Vienna serval times or just try to get out the maximum of your stay in Vienna? Then a trip to Bratislava would be a suggestion, if you want to see also Vienna's surrounding. Of course, you could just take the car and drive ther, but might not always travelling by car. So then just take one of the following possibilities to get there. All very convenient ways.

The probably cheapest way to travel is very traditional with train. There is a special offer for travelling to Bratislava. For just EUR 15 you can go back and forth and in addition you still get a day ticket for public transport .

Also quite easy and comfortable is with the bus such as from Eurolines.

The last is a rather unconventional, but also not an everyday way to travel: on the Twin City Liner, a hydrofoil. You start at Schwedenplatz and 75 minutes later get off the boat at Bratislava downtown. In between, you can enjoy the Danube landscape directly from the boat. All information about the hydrofoil you find on the website.

So how about a day trip ?

Greetings from the Appartements Ferchergasse
