Everything just an illusion?
What if you can not be sure in a museum if what you see exists at all or is real? When you experience things that should not possible at all?
Now you dived into the world of illusions and you are right in the middle of the Museum of Illusions, which I will introduce to you today.
The idea for this museum comes from Zagreb (Croatia) and here Lana Rozic, the founder, discovered it. She was so enthusiastic, astonished, confused and surprised at the same time, that she wanted to establish this kind of museum in Vienna as well. With success.
Nothing is as it seems ...
The Museum of Illusions is a completely new, interactive museum concept in Vienna. There are fascinating visual, sensual and exciting experiences full of illusions and almost magic. This makes it the perfect place for all ages. And it's just fun to be enchanted, playfully exploring and simply creating the illusion. Touching, trying out, photographing, everything is allowed and absolutely welcome here. Because nothing is as it seems. And for our brains it's a welcome change and very educational.
In the museum there are different rooms and exhibition areas that take you on an exciting journey. Whether in the Vortextunnel, in the anti-gravity room, in the infinite space or in the holograms. And in the game room, you can compete with your friends or family in the dilemma games who will find the solution first. Or is there possibly none?
Of course, there is also a shop where you can take home a few of the illusions and games and amaze your friends and family. Or just practice for your next visit.
The museum itself is located in Palais Esterhazy, Wallnerstraße 4, 1010 Vienna. It is open daily from 10h to 21h. Enough time so that you can visit the museum during the day. Or how about ending a long day in a playful way? Just dive into the world of illusion and be surprised what happens.
