Sustainability in the Ferchergasse apartments<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div>

Sustainability isn’t an add-on for us \u2014 it’s a fixed part of how we run our business every day. We want to offer you a comfortable stay while handling resources, the environment and our surroundings responsibly. For us, the two simply belong together. <\/p>\n

We\u2019ve now received four awards for this. Since the end of September 2021, we\u2019ve been certified with the Austrian Ecolabel<\/a> and the EU Ecolabel<\/a>. In addition, we\u2019ve been recognized as an \u00d6koBusiness-Wien business<\/a>. And now, as of 2026, we\u2019ve also earned Green Key<\/a> certification\u2014the international standard for sustainable tourism\u2014which we earned following a rigorous external audit. <\/p>\n

Four certifications look good on paper, sure. But for us, they’re really proof of something simpler: that sustainability here isn’t just a promise \u2014 it’s something we actually live, day to day.<\/p>\n<\/div>

With the Austrian Ecolabel, the EU Ecolabel and the Green Key, we are committed to complying with many strict criteria and to being regularly audited by independent bodies. For us, sustainability therefore means not only good intentions, but also concrete measures in everyday life \u2013 for the environment, for our guests and for all the people who work in our business. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

We fulfill our environmental and social responsibilities by, among other things, giving preference to regional and environmentally friendly products, using energy and water responsibly, and minimizing or properly sorting waste. Many of these measures are firmly embedded in our operational processes and are continuously reviewed and refined. <\/p>\n
