\"\"We’re currently enjoying absolutely summery temperatures in Vienna and you simply have to make the most of these days. That’s why I’ve put together a simple summer day in Hernals for you today. Just relax and enjoy. <\/p>\n

Let’s assume you’ve already explored Vienna a bit and don’t have to work through your list of “must-see” things. So how about a relaxing, leisurely day out in the local area, especially as Vienna gets pretty stuffy when it’s really hot. If you don’t feel like moving far away from the apartments, then I have a few suggestions for you on how to spend a very pleasant summer day. <\/p>\n

Well fortified for the day<\/h2>\n

Let’s start right away. I can’t offer you breakfast here, but you don’t have to make it yourself if you don’t feel like it. Because directly opposite, on Hernalser Hauptstra\u00dfe, the Heiner caf\u00e9 and pastry shop<\/a> awaits you with a wide range of breakfast options. You can also have a late breakfast put together for you at the Biogreisslerei right next to the pharmacy. A relaxed start to the day. Well fortified, you can then head back to Ferchergasse, where it will probably already be late morning and the temperatures are slowly but surely rising. <\/p>\n

A day almost by the sea<\/h2>\n

So what could be better than spending most of the rest of the day in the outdoor pool? More or less just around the corner is the congress pool<\/a> with a large pool and a spacious area for sunbathing. However, it can also be quite busy here. <\/p>\n

The Neuwaldeggerbad<\/a> is far more relaxed and definitely quieter. Simply get on the 43, travel out of town to the terminus (it only takes a few minutes), then walk a few meters and you’re at the Neuwaldeggerbad, which is nestled in the forest. Peace and relaxation are the order of the day, and if you do get hungry, there’s plenty to eat and drink. <\/p>\n

Swimming, reading, sleeping, unwinding, sunbathing… The main thing is to relax. But since even swimming pools have a closing time, it’s time to head back to Ferchergasse. For a short stopover and to freshen up. Because you can also stay in our neighborhood in the evening and relax at the end of the day. We have some very nice and cozy restaurants nearby, Christian and I will be happy to advise you. <\/p>\n

The end of a perfect summer’s day<\/h2>\n

And if you want an ice cream to round off a perfect summer’s day, the Arnoldo ice cream parlor<\/a> has a large selection of ice cream flavors for you. Also on Hernalser Hauptstra\u00dfe, diagonally opposite Hofer. From my own experience and regular “reviews”, I can highly recommend the ice cream there. <\/p>\n
