Our year 2023
The year 2023 is almost over again, so it is time for the annual review again. And, of course, we’ll tell you the plans we have for 2024.
Then, let’s look back to 2023.
The apartments R02, R26, and H03 have been completely renovated. The floor now shines like new again after it has been sanded. The old beds were disposed of and replaced with new ones. You can now flexibly choose between single beds or a double bed. We replaced the couch with two comfortable armchairs and a table. And in the anteroom, you now have a wardrobe.
Something that we have done in all kitchens, i.e., in all apartments, is the cutlery and kitchen utensils such as sharp knives and the like. And for those who like to drink coffee and tea in large quantities, all apartments now also have many colorful cups.
At the beginning of December, many new, beautiful things were delivered: carpets, curtains, and beds.
We now have new carpets in apartments 1 to 8. The curtains now decorate apartments 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7. Apartments 2 and 3 have new beds, so we swapped the old ones. We have slightly redesigned the small bedroom in Apartment 7. This makes sleeping even more comfortable. Because instead of the double couch, there are now 2 comfortable beds. So, you can decide flexibly whether you prefer a double bed or two single beds.
In Apartment 9, we had both sofa beds re-covered. The old material was already getting a bit old.
The kitchen in apartment F21/17 has been completely renovated. Here, we completely redid the kitchen and put two bar stools in the kitchen.
In Apartment F21/18, we have also improved the sleeping comfort and swapped the sofa bed for a bed.
Our office is also subject to change and is not yet wholly complete. The entire wall structure and the desk are already new. What’s still coming is a new box next to the table so that all the cables are well stored.
We also did a lot in the house at Ferchergasse 19. The most visible thing is the beautiful new entrance door. Less visible but important is the lightning protection that was provided.
Plans for 2024
So now are the plans for 2024. You already know from previous years that they still change over the course of the year, but a few things are already fixed.
The kitchens will continue to be better equipped with new dishes and new glasses, and we’ll also see what new things we can do with the pots and pans.
The new heating control will soon ensure more room comfort. This allows you to control the temperature of each room individually.
We’re still working on a few things but won’t reveal them yet. And yes, the 2024 review will certainly be much longer than planned here.
